Introducing Jackie Dorey

We’d like to welcome Jackie Dorey to Splatt Lawyers Racing in 2019!

Jackie is a Masters 4 rider and a proud member of the Brisbane Cycling Club. She works in data admin within the automotive industry and admits to having a love-hate relationship with cycling when she first started riding a bike.

“Five years ago, someone told me that cycling would be a great idea. To be honest, I wasn’t a fan at first. Then I met a great bunch of people who changed my mind and I haven’t looked back since.”

Jackie’s ethos around cycling is that it has to be fun – as well as road cycling, Jackie can be found enjoying the trails on her MTB or having a crazy adventure with her husband, Chris.

Jackie reckons that she’s stoked to be pinning on a race number for Splatt Lawyers Racing this year – she shares, “I love that the team endorse the values of encouragement and a good laugh while we also get fit doing it”.

Her favourite food is bananas, especially in a sandwich with peanut butter and jam.
