Cycling ambassadors for woman on bikes

Cycling ambassadors for woman on bikes

”Gruelling” and ”lung busting” are just some of the words used to describe The Spirit Of Tasmania Cycling Tour. For the first time in the Tour’s history, an inaugural women’s event ran alongside the men’s race where ”raw endurance, perseverance and passion” are some words to describe our girls who showed that cycling really can break down gender imbalance and diversity barriers.

Bree Wilson, Nicky Rolls, Jess Pratt, Jaime Gunning and Holly Ranson headed to Launceston to contest the final NRS round of the year – the Tour of Tasmania.

The girls got a well deserved top spot in the Teams General Classification and finished strong in the criterium with Jaime in third spot. Jaime is also the deserving winner of the Young Riders jersey.

Congratulations girls – FourPL were proud to sponsor you in 2018. You have been amazing ambassadors in breaking down the gender imbalance in cycling and and promoting woman on bikes!
