Introducing the fabulous support team
Splatt Lawyers racing wouldn’t be such a great team if they didn’t have a wonderful support crew behind them.
We’d like to introduce you to the glue that holds the team together – our owners and admin, Dea and Di Andersson and our much loved DS, Peter Erskine.
A love of riding bikes together led Dea and Di towards a lifetime of love. Founders of the Splatt Lawyers Racing team in 2018, they have worked hard to promote inclusivity, friendship and camaraderie within the sport as well as providing up and coming cyclists with the opportunity to race in the NRS.
This year they are focusing their energies on helping Masters athletes reach their potential.
Di has extensive experience in admin and does a great job of keeping us all on track. She shares that it’s a bit like herding goats but that she still loves us. She’s supported by Dea, one of our A grade riders who is currently on leave from riding – because we have a junior Splattie about to join our ranks in July. We’re all pretty excited about that! (“woohoo!!!” – Ed)
We also welcome Peter Erskine, our DS, who keeps us fed, watered and organised at races. It’s a thankless job so we are getting in early to be thankful he is with us! He’s also an amazing support at our weekly team training sessions – a yell of encouragement from Peter improves our wattage output significantly!
