07 Oct A busy weekend with lots of racing – in both NRS and QRTS rounds
Breaking news!!!! Congratulations to Jaime Gunning who secured the Leader’s jersey after an amazing race at The Tour of Gippsland. All four girls played pivotal roles in getting Jaime to the top spot, with both Ash and Jaime earning sprint points for the team.
After finding herself in a four woman breakaway, Jaime and fellow Queenslander Emily Roper were able to pull away after the first intermediate sprint and stay away for the duration of the entire race – an 80km kermesse at Phillip Island Raceway.
We also have two teams (mates against mates) compete in the QRTS series at Warwick
Amazing stuff girls, we are so proud of you!
